I broke camp around 5 AM, and came accross this owl on the trail.
Texas Plains Bison roam free in the park.
Gypsum is found all over the park. These formations where the rock has buckled and broken can be seen in abundance.
I found some prickly pears, but unfortunately was not aware these were in season, so I didn't eat any.
